She leads

She Leads is a women-led tech event co-supported by MDAP and the Melbourne Venture Club, aiming to connect more women entering the tech industry, exploring career paths, and reflecting on their growth. The event originated from Jinrui's profound experience of the information gap between academia and industry during her studies and job search in Melbourne and the US, and gradually developed with the support of Chunhua, Kabir, and Aidan. We hope to create more than just an experience-sharing event; we aim to foster a truly valuable dialogue, allowing participants to hear real stories from different countries, career stages, and academic and industrial backgrounds, and to take away immediately applicable advice. The event featured sincere and concrete discussions on topics such as women's support, increasing workplace visibility, building influence, proactively aligning team goals, and how to start by expressing oneself in small groups. Many participants felt they were not alone and gained a stronger belief that everyone has a unique path to growth. We thank all the moderators, panelists, attendees, and volunteers for their participation, MDAP for providing the venue and operational support, and the Melbourne Venture Club for their contributions to dissemination, organization, and on-site assistance. She Leads Tech won't stop here; the next event will focus on Women in Entrepreneurship, continuing to explore more possibilities for entrepreneurship, innovation, and women's growth.
